I was first introduced to Denize through my accountant in April 1993 when Denize came along and changed our accounting systems from a manual process into an electronic process on Sage. Not only did she show me how to do management accounts but also set up departmental management accounts for each customer so that we could see which customers where most profitable.
Once the accounts where all set up on Sage, that was her job completed. However I asked her to stay on and to assist me on a monthly basis with the management accounts and she set up excel spreadsheets with budgets split over the 12 month period and we did comparisons to see if we where under or over budget, and would then discuss it.
In 2004 I asked Denize to become the Company Secretary for Newcotech and to work closer with me on the financial side of the business, which she accepted.
I sold my business in January 2010!!
